QR Code Generator by QRLynx is a live Figma Community plugin for creating customizable static and dynamic URL QR codes in Figma. It inserts the finished QR into the current canvas as vector artwork. Static QR creation is unlimited, and connecting a QRLynx account is optional.

Open the plugin in Figma Community, or continue below to choose static or dynamic, understand capacity, and review how QRLynx handles Figma identity and design data.

What you can do inside Figma

Insert vector QR artwork

Create the QR in the plugin and insert it into the current Figma canvas as vector artwork that fits a design workflow.

Start from 50 templates

Choose from 50 ready-made templates, then adjust the result for the layout and brand you are designing.

Customize the design

Change QR patterns, finder eyes, colors, frames, frame labels, and transparent backgrounds before insertion.

Create static or dynamic

Use a static URL QR for a fixed destination or a dynamic URL QR when scan totals and later destination changes matter.

Manage saved QR codes

Search, edit, reinsert, and delete saved QR projects from the plugin instead of rebuilding them for every file.

View dynamic scan totals

Open a saved dynamic QR to see its total recorded scans and keep its current destination visible.

Choose static or dynamic in the Figma plugin

ChoiceUse it whenAccount and capacity
Static URL QR
The encoded destination is final and the design does not need QRLynx scan totals or a later redirect update
Unlimited creation without connecting a QRLynx account
Dynamic URL QR
You want to view scan totals or change the saved destination after the QR artwork has been inserted or printed
An editor identity starts with 3 dynamic codes. An optional QRLynx account connection uses that account's real available capacity.

How to create a QR code in Figma with QRLynx

Create, insert, and test the QR without leaving the Figma design workflow.

1

Install the live Figma Community plugin

Open QR Code Generator by QRLynx from its public Figma Community listing and run it in the file where you want the QR artwork.

2

Enter the public destination

Paste the complete HTTPS URL that should open when someone scans the QR, then verify that it reaches the intended public page.

3

Choose static or dynamic

Choose static for a fixed encoded URL. Choose dynamic when you want QRLynx scan totals and the option to update the destination later.

4

Choose a template or customize the design

Start from one of 50 templates or set the pattern, finder eyes, colors, frame, label, and background that suit the current design.

5

Insert the QR into the current canvas

Create the QR and insert the resulting vector artwork. Position and size it in the final composition while keeping enough clear space around the code.

6

Test the finished design

Scan the actual exported artwork on more than one phone. Check the destination, contrast, quiet zone, size, and any background or print treatment.

7

Return to a saved dynamic QR when needed

Search for the saved QR in the plugin to view scan totals, edit its destination, or reinsert the current version into another Figma file.

Account connection is optional

The plugin can confirm a Figma editor identity and provide unlimited static QR creation plus an initial allowance of 3 dynamic URL QR codes without connecting a QRLynx account.

Connecting an existing QRLynx account lets the plugin use that account owner's available dynamic capacity and dashboard management. A current free QRLynx account can reach 5 total dynamic codes through the one-time integration reward. Paid and Enterprise accounts use their actual plan capacity. The connection is not a fixed extra 2 codes added to every paid plan.

Review the current QRLynx plans for web account limits and features. Open Account QR Codes for the broader dashboard workflow.

Figma privacy and connection details

The plugin uses Figma's current_user:read permission to confirm editor identity. QRLynx does not store your Figma email, Figma files, or design contents. The plugin connects only to https://qrlynx.com, and its QRLynx session is kept in Figma client storage.

Use the plugin for design work and the dashboard for the wider account

The Figma plugin focuses on URL QR creation and management inside the editor. It is useful when the QR artwork belongs in a Figma layout and should remain easy to reinsert or update.

The QRLynx web generator covers the complete browser creation workflow and all registered QR types. The web dashboard is the broader place for plan-available analytics, campaign controls, and account management. Developers building an automated workflow can use the separate QRLynx API documentation.

Does the Figma plugin insert a vector QR code?

Yes. The plugin inserts the generated QR into the current Figma canvas as vector artwork.

What Figma data does QRLynx store?
