QRLynx is a free QR code generator and management platform built by Jorbox LLC, an independent software company operating since 2012. It supports 61 QR code types, unlimited static creation, saved dynamic QR codes, 3-month Starter analytics, and AI summaries. The free Starter plan includes 3 active dynamic QR codes, with unlimited, uncapped scans on every plan.
Beyond the generator, six no-signup companion tools cover generating, customizing, and tracking QR workflows, all on Cloudflare's global network, encrypted in transit with modern TLS and encrypted at rest on Cloudflare-managed infrastructure. Static codes download free in PNG, JPG, or WebP, watermark-free with a free account (scalable SVG and A4 PDF downloads start on Starter+), and paid plans start at $7 per month for 50 dynamic codes, scaling to 5,000 on Enterprise. In QRLynx's December 2025 through April 2026 benchmark cohort, the median was 2 scans and the mean was 44, including codes with no recorded scans. The creator study found about 25% higher average scans for codes with logos, while both groups had the same median. This is an association, not a guaranteed logo effect. QRLynx separately reports processing over 5 million scans platform-wide during that period. The published figures are anonymized.

Do your QR codes expire?
Static QR codes work forever with no time limit. Dynamic QR codes keep their stable printed links and have unlimited scans. If a plan change puts an account over its plan limit, excess dynamic projects are quota-paused, not deleted. After capacity becomes available, the owner selects which paused codes to restore.
What is the difference between Static and Dynamic QR codes?
QR Code symbols are defined by the ISO/IEC 18004:2024 symbology standard. Static and dynamic QR codes differ at the platform level: static QR codes encode the final data directly, while dynamic QR codes encode a short redirect URL that QRLynx can update, track, pause, or route after printing. In QRLynx's December 2025 through April 2026 study, 93.8% of recorded codes were dynamic. This describes the study cohort, not all QR creators.
Can I track QR code scans?
Yes. Enable scan tracking for dynamic QR codes on any registered QRLynx plan. Scans are unlimited. Analytics cover 3 months on the free Starter plan, 1 year on Starter+, 2 years on Pro, 3 years on Business, and all available history on Enterprise. The free Starter plan includes AI scan summaries. Starter+ adds full AI insight details with manual refresh. Pro adds country analytics. Business adds city-level location, device types, operating systems, browsers, and CSV export.
Can I change the QR code destination after printing?
Yes! With Dynamic QR codes (available on all plans including free), you can change the target URL instantly without reprinting the code. This is perfect for correcting mistakes, updating campaigns, or refreshing legacy marketing materials.
Will my printed QR code keep working?
Static QR codes keep working because the final data is encoded in the printed symbol. Dynamic QR codes keep their stable printed links and have unlimited scans. If a code is quota-paused after a plan change, its project and short link are preserved, but the owner must select it for restoration after capacity is available. QRLynx may also pause suspicious or malicious dynamic destinations for abuse review. In QRLynx's study of 754 URL-type submissions from December 2025 through April 2026, 12.7% needed additional review at first assessment. A review flag does not establish that a destination is malicious.
Is there a limit on how many times my QR code can be scanned?
No! All scans are unlimited and uncapped on every plan: free and paid, static and dynamic. There are no plan-based scan caps or overage fees. Traffic may only be limited to block abuse or malicious activity. Static QR codes never expire.
