Terms of Service

The rules for QRLynx accounts, QR content, subscriptions, acceptable use, and service access.

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Summary

  • Jorbox LLC operates QRLynx and provides free and paid QR creation, management, hosted content, redirect, and analytics features. The Starter plan is free forever.
  • You are responsible for your account, QR destinations, uploaded files, form fields, and the rights and notices needed for the content you publish.
  • Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Refund eligibility follows the QRLynx Refund and Cancellation Policy and any non-waivable rights that apply to you.
  • Malware, phishing, spam, deception, unauthorized access, rights infringement, and attempts to evade service limits are prohibited.
  • QRLynx can restrict a QR, destination, feature, workspace, or account when needed to enforce these terms, protect users, or comply with law.

The sections below are the binding terms. The summary helps explain them but does not replace them.

Agreement and operator

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Jorbox LLC, the company that operates the QRLynx product and brand. They apply when you access qrlynx.com, create or manage a QRLynx account, use the QRLynx application or public API, publish hosted content, create or scan a QRLynx-managed link, or use another QRLynx service surface.

By using QRLynx, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them. If you use QRLynx for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use QRLynx. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use. You must also be legally able to enter this agreement and must not use the service where applicable law prohibits it.

Accounts and access

Some features require an account. QRLynx supports Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Apple, and email magic-link sign-in. You are responsible for access to your email account, OAuth provider account, active sessions, API keys, team invitations, and workspace roles. Keep access links and API secrets confidential, review team access regularly, and notify support@qrlynx.com if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.

Information supplied to QRLynx must be accurate and current. You may not impersonate another person or organization, create an account for deceptive activity, transfer an account to avoid enforcement, or attempt to regain access after a suspension without permission.

The QRLynx service

QRLynx provides tools for creating static and dynamic QR codes, managing destinations and hosted content, viewing analytics, organizing workspaces, and using features available to the selected plan. The available features, limits, and prices are described on the QRLynx pricing page and inside the account. Every QRLynx plan includes unlimited scans. Plan limits apply to active dynamic-code capacity and plan-specific features, not scan volume.

Static QR codes encode their final content in the image and continue independently of a QRLynx subscription when the encoded destination remains available. Dynamic QR codes depend on a QRLynx redirect and account state. A dynamic code can stop resolving because it was deleted, manually disabled, scheduled, expired by its owner, blocked for safety or abuse, connected to an invalid destination, or left above the active-code allowance after a plan change.

Subscriptions, renewals, and refunds

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and are billed in advance on the interval shown at checkout. A subscription renews automatically until it is cancelled. You authorize Stripe and QRLynx to charge the selected payment method for the subscription, applicable taxes, and approved plan changes.

You can cancel through account billing controls. Cancellation stops future renewal, while paid access normally remains available until the end of the current billing period. Downgrades normally take effect at the end of that period. Static codes continue, the free plan's active dynamic-code allowance remains available, and ordinary dynamic codes above the new allowance can pause rather than be deleted.

Refunds, billing errors, duplicate charges, renewal treatment, Enterprise contract exceptions, and statutory consumer rights are governed by the current QRLynx Refund and Cancellation Policy. A signed Enterprise agreement can contain different billing, support, security, or termination terms and controls where it conflicts with these public terms.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of content you submit to QRLynx, including destinations, text, images, documents, branding, contact details, and form configuration. You grant Jorbox LLC a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transform, transmit, display, secure, and process that content only as needed to provide, maintain, and protect QRLynx.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content you submit and the campaigns you run. You are responsible for the destination reached by each QR, the accuracy of public claims, accessibility and consumer notices, intellectual-property permissions, and compliance with the laws that apply to your campaign.

If you collect personal information through a Lead Form or hosted QRLynx experience, you decide the purpose and fields, provide any required privacy notice, establish an appropriate legal basis, honor submitter rights, and export information you need before the retention period ends. QRLynx Lead Form submissions are normally removed after 90 days.

Acceptable use

You may not use QRLynx to:

  • distribute malware, phishing, credential theft, harmful code, or links designed to compromise a person, device, account, or network;
  • send spam, facilitate unsolicited bulk messaging, deceive scanners about a destination, or impersonate another person or organization;
  • publish illegal content or content that infringes privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights;
  • promote violence, exploitation, or other activity that is unlawful in the relevant jurisdiction;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to QRLynx systems, accounts, APIs, rate limits, or security controls, except where applicable law expressly permits security research;
  • resell or automate the service in a way that exceeds the selected plan, bypasses access controls, or interferes with other users;
  • use a custom domain, uploaded file, hosted page, or redirect pool in a way that harms the reputation, deliverability, or security of QRLynx or its infrastructure providers.

Safety review and enforcement

QRLynx uses automated and manual controls to review external destinations and abusive activity. Depending on the issue, QRLynx can reject a destination at creation, display a safety warning, pause a QR or hosted page, limit traffic, remove content, suspend a feature, restrict a workspace, or suspend or terminate an account. Different QR types and destinations can follow different safety paths.

QRLynx will consider the nature, severity, and urgency of an issue and may provide notice or an opportunity to correct it when practical. Immediate action can be taken when needed to protect scanners, the service, infrastructure providers, or the public. QRLynx may preserve evidence and respond to valid legal requests. Refund eligibility after enforcement is determined by the refund policy, the facts of the case, any signed agreement, and applicable law.

Suspected phishing, malware, impersonation, or abusive use can be reported to abuse@jorbox.com or through the QRLynx abuse report.

Lead Forms and hosted submissions

Lead Forms include a per-QR storage limit of 5,000 leads on the Business plan and 50,000 leads on the Enterprise plan, plus rate limits, bot verification, and a 90-day retention period. A submission that would exceed the applicable storage limit is rejected. New submissions can be rejected when the owner no longer has access to the feature, the form reaches its limit, bot verification fails, or abuse controls apply. Account owners should export needed records before they expire and must secure any copies they export.

QRLynx intellectual property

Jorbox LLC and its licensors own QRLynx software, source code, site design, trademarks, documentation, and service content that users did not submit. These terms do not transfer that ownership. You may use QRLynx output for lawful personal or commercial campaigns, but you may not copy, sell, sublicense, or create a competing service from protected QRLynx software or branding except as allowed by law or a separate written agreement.

Third-party services and destinations

QRLynx connects with services such as Stripe, OAuth providers, wallet providers, security providers, and customer-selected destinations. Their own terms and privacy policies govern their services. QRLynx does not control the availability, content, or policies of a destination selected by an account holder.

Privacy

The QRLynx Privacy Policy explains how Jorbox LLC processes personal information. The QRLynx Cookie Policy explains cookies, browser storage, and optional tracking choices. Those policies are incorporated into these terms where applicable.

Service changes and availability

QRLynx may add, modify, limit, or discontinue a feature to improve the service, respond to security or legal requirements, manage provider changes, or maintain sustainable operations. QRLynx will use reasonable efforts to provide notice when a change materially reduces a paid service and advance notice is practical.

QRLynx does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, provider incidents, network conditions, unsafe destinations, force majeure events, and customer systems can affect creation, hosting, redirects, analytics, email, or account access.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRLynx is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Jorbox LLC disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing. QRLynx does not guarantee that a QR will be accepted by every scanner, printer, platform, retailer, regulator, or third-party destination.

Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jorbox LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from QRLynx.

Suspension, termination, and account deletion

You may stop using QRLynx at any time. Account deletion is available from account settings after an active paid subscription or trial has been cancelled. Deletion affects stored account content and dynamic QR operation as described in the Privacy Policy.

Jorbox LLC may suspend or terminate access when you materially breach these terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, abuse the service, or when continued service is no longer practical or lawful. When practical, QRLynx will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, will survive.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable consumer rights, the state and federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or QRLynx.

Changes to these terms

Jorbox LLC may update these terms when the service, business, provider relationships, security needs, or legal requirements materially change. The updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. Material changes may also be communicated through QRLynx or by email. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms means you accept them, where permitted by law.

General terms

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in effect. A failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without written permission from Jorbox LLC. Jorbox LLC may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale of the service. These terms, the policies they incorporate, and any applicable signed agreement form the complete agreement for QRLynx.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@qrlynx.com or through the QRLynx contact page. Legal correspondence can be sent to Jorbox LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States.
