Recent QRLynx updates
Highlights from the six most recent completed months. This page covers recent improvements, rather than QRLynx’s full product history.
How this page works
Currently covering March to August 2026.
QRLynx is built and operated by Jorbox LLC.
August 2026
- Integration hub: A new home for QRLynx integrations, with availability clearly marked. Explore integrations.
- Folder tools: View scan totals by folder. Pro and higher plans can download a folder’s QR codes together as a ZIP.
- Bulk downloads: QR batches now include a CSV file to help keep exported codes organized.
- QR creation: Simpler QR type selection and a clearer download experience for visitors without an account.
- Plan comparison: An easier way to compare the free Starter plan with the paid Starter+ plan.
July 2026
- Public API v1: Business and Enterprise accounts can create dynamic URL QR codes, read code details and scan totals, update names and destinations, and render SVG through scoped, revocable keys. The OpenAPI document and examples are available in the developer documentation.
- QR code frames: Six free frame designs plus None now support custom call-to-action text and color. The same compositor drives preview and downloads while preserving the QR module matrix. Test the final design at its intended size and material. See QR code frames.
- Expanded QR type library: Eleven URL-based types shipped in July, followed by GS1 Digital Link support in static and dynamic modes. The current registry contains 61 QR types. Browse the QR code type directory.
- Custom consent wording: Pro and higher plans can set per-QR access-consent text instead of using a preset message.
- Extended analytics history: Analytics is now available for 3 months on the free Starter plan, 1 year on the paid Starter+ plan, 2 years on Pro, 3 years on Business, and all available history on Enterprise. The full plan window includes totals, charts, top QR codes, and the location, device, operating-system, and browser breakdowns available to the plan. Business and Enterprise can export analytics for the selected period.
June 2026
- Full AI Insights moved from Pro to Starter+: Starter+ and higher plans gained anomaly, trend, and recommendation detail, plus one manual refresh per day. Starter continues to receive Basic AI Insight Summaries.
- Generator and dashboard performance: Generator controls and account pages were adjusted to load less interface code up front.
May 2026
- Analytics baseline: Starter analytics history increased from 30 days to 3 months, establishing the current minimum across all plans.
April 2026
- Digital Business Card: A hosted, editable contact page launched with profile details, a save-contact action, sharing, and Apple and Google Wallet passes.
- Last used sign-in badge: The sign-in page can identify the provider previously used in that browser.
- QR Code Glossary: A reference page launched for technical and QRLynx workflow terms, with primary standards linked beside relevant definitions.
- AI Insight Summaries: Scan-analytics summaries became available from the account dashboard.
- Pricing and generator interface: Plan features received consistent ordering, while generator controls gained lighter loading and mobile interaction improvements.
March 2026
- Team workspaces: Business and Enterprise accounts can invite teammates with viewer, editor, admin, and owner roles.
- QR scheduling: Eligible dynamic codes can start or stop resolving at configured dates and times.
- QR list pagination: The QR code list moved to ten items per page.
- Dark mode: The app gained a persistent theme control across account and marketing surfaces.
- Customer feedback flow: An in-product milestone prompt was added for eligible account owners.
- Account navigation: Mobile sign-in access and direct QR title links simplified common account actions.
