Choose static or dynamic before you create
Use a static URL QR when the destination is final. Static creation is unlimited, no personal QRLynx account connection is required, and copies already placed in designs keep working if you later delete the saved project.
Use a dynamic URL QR when scan totals or later destination changes matter. Dynamic capacity counts active codes, not scans. Deleting the dynamic project stops existing placed or printed copies from redirecting.
How to create a QR code in Adobe Express with QRLynx
Create, insert, and test the QR from the same design workflow.
Open the published add-on
Open Adobe Express Add-ons, search for QR Code Generator QRLynx, select Add, and open it in the design where you want the QR.
Enter the public destination
Paste the complete HTTP or HTTPS URL that should open when someone scans the QR, then confirm that it reaches the intended public page.
Choose static or dynamic
Choose static for a fixed encoded URL. Choose dynamic when you want QRLynx scan totals and the option to update the destination later.
Choose a template or customize the design
Start from one of 50 templates or set the pattern, finder eyes, colors, frame, label, and background that suit the current design.
Add the QR to the current page
Create the QR and add the high-resolution PNG to the active Adobe Express design. Position and size it while keeping clear space around the code.
Test the finished design
Scan the actual exported artwork on more than one phone. Check the destination, contrast, quiet zone, size, and any background or print treatment.
Return to My Codes when needed
Search for a saved project to review its destination, edit its design, update a dynamic destination, view scan totals, or insert it into another Adobe Express design.
Account connection is optional
A new verified Adobe editor identity can create unlimited static URL QR codes and starts with capacity for 3 active dynamic URL QR codes. You do not need to connect a personal QRLynx account to use that guest workflow.
Connecting an existing QRLynx account transfers supported guest QR projects to that account and lets the add-on use the account owner's available dynamic capacity. An eligible Starter account can unlock 2 additional dynamic slots, up to 5 total. Paid accounts use their actual plan capacity rather than receiving the same fixed bonus.

Adobe identity and design data stay separate
The add-on uses Adobe's Current User API to confirm a verified editor identity. It does not request your Adobe email address, open a separate Adobe OAuth popup, or store Adobe Express files or design contents. QRLynx stores a pseudonymous Adobe editor mapping, technical session records, and the QR project data required for My Codes, dynamic redirects, and supported account management. Adobe Express receives a high-resolution PNG
The add-on inserts a PNG with a maximum edge of 2,048 pixels. It does not insert SVG, an editable vector object, or an Adobe-native QR element. Size and position the QR in the final design, then scan-test the exported result before printing or publishing.
