What an Event QR Code Actually Encodes (iCalendar VEVENT Fields)
An event QR code stores a small block of iCalendar text — the same .ics format (RFC 5545) that Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook all read. The whole event lives inside a BEGIN:VEVENT / END:VEVENT block, so the camera app can build the calendar entry with no internet lookup. These are the fields that block can carry:
