What a Location QR Code Actually Encodes
A QRLynx location QR doesn't store a Google Maps link. It encodes a standards-based geo: URI, defined by IETF RFC 5870. Because the scheme is app-agnostic, the phone opens it in whatever maps app the scanner already uses (Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze), instead of forcing one provider.
