GS1 Digital Link QR code generator

Build a GS1 Digital Link from a product identifier, traceability fields, and an HTTPS destination. Choose a self-hosted static URI or a dynamic QRLynx link whose destination can be updated without reprinting.

Select QR Code Type

Choose static or dynamic hosting

Both modes encode a GS1 Digital Link URI. The difference is who hosts the URI and whether QRLynx can change the destination or record scans.

Identifier and traceability coverage

The generator supports 15 primary identifier types, including GTIN, SSCC, GLN, GDTI, GCN, GINC, GSIN, GRAI, GIAI, ITIP, CPID, GMN, and provider or recipient GSRN. It validates supported check digits and shows only the qualifiers allowed for the selected identifier.

Batch or lot, serial, product variant, GLN extension, service relation instance, and expiry AI 17 are available where the launch validator supports them.

Multiple destinations in one dynamic code

Dynamic mode can store one URL for each of 16 GS1 destination categories. Select one default destination for ordinary scans, then use a supported linkType request for product information, instructions, safety information, traceability, recall status, and other stored links.

Scan totals remain attached to the QR code. The first release does not split analytics by destination category.

Packaging export and validation limits

The packaging-safe download preset exports square black modules on white, removes logos and decorative frames, and calculates a four-module quiet zone from the final encoded URI. It also shows the physical symbol size for the selected X-dimension.

QRLynx validates the supported GS1 format and check digits. It does not verify ownership of an identifier, certify a print job, or claim that the first release is a GS1-Conformant Resolver. Final packaging should be checked with suitable equipment under ISO/IEC 15415.
