QR Code Scan Summaries Delivered by Email
Choose a daily, weekly, or monthly interval for an individual QRLynx QR code. When that period records scans, the account owner receives its total and unique scan counts by email.

What QRLynx email summaries contain
QRLynx email summaries are per-QR scan reports for Business and Enterprise accounts. Each message names the QR code and shows its total scans and unique visitors for the selected period. The email also includes a direct link to manage that QR code's summary settings.
Daily, weekly, and monthly selections cover the preceding 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. QRLynx sends a summary when the selected period records at least one scan, keeping the inbox focused on active codes. Every QRLynx plan includes unlimited scans, so the reporting interval is not a scan allowance.
A focused report for one QR code
Choose the cadence that matches the campaign you want to watch.
Per-QR Control
Enable a summary on the specific tracked QR code that matters instead of receiving one account-wide digest.
Three Reporting Intervals
Select a 24-hour, 7-day, or 30-day scan window through the daily, weekly, or monthly setting.
Two Clear Metrics
Read total scans and unique visitors for the selected QR code and period directly in the email.
Owner Delivery
The summary goes to the email address of the account that owns the QR code, with a settings link for that code.
How each summary frequency works
The email-summary job runs daily at 8:00 AM UTC and processes each QR code when its selected interval is due.
| Setting | Scan period | Next eligible processing |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | Previous 24 hours | After the 24-hour interval is due |
| Weekly | Previous 7 days | After the 7-day interval is due |
| Monthly | Previous 30 days | After the 30-day interval is due |
How to enable a QRLynx email summary
Configure the report from the QR code you want to monitor.
Open a tracked QR code
Sign in to a Business or Enterprise workspace and open the QR code from your dashboard.
Open Email Summary settings
Choose Email Summary in the QR code settings. Enabling it keeps the code dynamic and scan tracking active.
Choose the interval
Select Daily, Weekly, or Monthly for a 24-hour, 7-day, or 30-day scan period, then save the QR code.
Confirm the report
After the interval is due and records scan activity, check the owner email for total scans, unique visitors, and the manage-settings link.
Manage summaries together
Use the Email Summaries account page to review configured QR codes, frequency, status, last sent date, and the edit action.
Keep active QR campaigns visible
Create a tracked QR code, then choose its summary interval
Business and Enterprise accounts can configure email summaries from each compatible dynamic QR code.
Email summaries and the analytics dashboard serve different jobs
Where scheduled summaries help
Match one QR code and one interval to an operating decision.
Live Campaign Check
Use a daily summary for a short campaign when yesterday's total and unique scans guide the next placement decision.
Weekly Location Review
Give an individual store, poster, or menu QR code a weekly cadence to keep its recent scan activity visible.
Monthly Stakeholder Check-in
Use the 30-day period for a recurring high-level scan count, then open analytics when a deeper review is useful.
Current email-summary scope
The feature stays intentionally clear and predictable.
| Area | Current behavior | Where to go deeper |
|---|---|---|
| Report owner | One configured QR code | Configure other QR codes individually |
| Email metrics | Total scans and unique visitors | Open QR code analytics for detailed breakdowns |
| Recipient | QR code owner's account email | Use the dashboard for team analysis |
| Compatibility | Tracked dynamic QR codes except GS1 Digital Link | Use GS1 analytics in the dashboard |
| Quiet periods | Summary sends after at least one scan in the period | The configured setting remains available |
Add scan summaries to the QR codes you monitor
Choose a reporting interval on each compatible dynamic QR code. Business starts at $29/month with 1,000 active dynamic QR codes. Enterprise starts at $99/month.
QRLynx email summary questions
Exact answers about setup, timing, metrics, access, and delivery.
What does a QRLynx QR code email summary include?
Each email names one configured QR code and shows total scans and unique visitors for its selected period. It also links to that QR code's settings. Location, device, operating-system, browser, chart, and CSV detail remain available through QRLynx analytics according to the account plan.
Are QRLynx email summaries account-wide or per QR code?
They are configured and delivered per QR code. This lets you choose a different cadence for each campaign. The Email Summaries page in the account lists the QR codes that have a configuration, their frequency, status, last sent date, and edit link.
When are daily, weekly, and monthly summaries sent?
QRLynx runs email-summary processing daily at 8:00 AM UTC. A daily selection becomes due after about 24 hours, weekly after 7 days, and monthly after 30 days from the last successful summary. These are elapsed intervals rather than a fixed weekday or calendar date.
Will QRLynx send an email when a QR code has no scans?
QRLynx sends the summary when the selected period has at least one scan. Quiet periods therefore do not add empty reports to the owner inbox, while the saved summary setting remains available for the next active period.
Which QRLynx plans include email summaries?
Email summaries are included with QRLynx Business and Enterprise. Access is checked when the feature is enabled and again before a report is queued, so delivery follows the current plan of the QR code owner.
Which QR codes can use email summaries?
Email summaries work with compatible tracked dynamic QR codes, including URL and PDF QR codes. Enabling the feature keeps scan tracking active and saves the QR code as dynamic. GS1 Digital Link QR codes use their analytics dashboard and do not support email-summary configuration.
Where can I manage configured QRLynx email summaries?
Open Email Summaries in the QRLynx account to review configured QR codes. To change one, use its Edit Summary action or open that QR code and select the Email Summary settings panel.
Who receives a QRLynx email summary?
The message is addressed to the email on the account that owns the QR code. Each message includes an unsubscribe option because email summaries use the QRLynx marketing-email delivery path.
Continue from the report to deeper analysis
Use QR code analytics for charts, plan-based history, and available location or device details. Review Business plan access, or sign in and open Email Summaries to manage QR codes that already have reports configured.
