What QRLynx Lead Forms do
QRLynx Lead Forms place a short contact form before the destination of an eligible dynamic QR code. A scanner sees the QR code name as the form title, enters any of the displayed details they choose to share, submits the form, and then continues to the saved destination.
The feature is built for offline campaigns where a contact record is useful alongside the destination visit, such as event follow-up, property inquiries, downloadable resources, consultation requests, and newsletter invitations. Each successful submission appears in the QRLynx Leads dashboard and can be exported as CSV.
The six contact fields available today
Choose which fixed fields appear on each QR code. Name and Email are enabled by default, and every displayed field is currently optional for the visitor.
| Field | Default | Submission behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Shown | Optional |
Shown | Optional; checked for a valid email format when entered | |
| Phone | Hidden | Optional text field |
| Company | Hidden | Optional text field |
| Job Title | Hidden | Optional text field |
| Website | Hidden | Optional text field |
How to add a lead form in QRLynx
Configure the feature on a saved dynamic QR code and test the complete visitor journey before printing.
Create or edit the dynamic QR code
Open the QRLynx generator or an existing QR code, then enter the destination the visitor should reach after submission.
Open Lead Form settings
Enable Lead Form in the QR settings. Lead Forms require Business or Enterprise access and cannot be combined with Password Protection on the same code.
Choose the displayed fields
Keep Name and Email, or add Phone, Company, Job Title, and Website according to the information the campaign genuinely needs.
Save the QR code
The QR code name becomes the public form title. Saving attaches the selected field configuration to that QR record.
Test the scan, submission, and redirect
Scan the final exported code, submit a test record, confirm the destination opens, then verify the record in Account > Leads and remove the test row from your working export if needed.
Lead journey
Add lead capture to a dynamic QR campaign
Choose the contact fields, keep the destination ready for the next step, and review each submitted record from the Leads dashboard.
Lead Form access and capacity
Lead Forms begin on Business. Both eligible plans keep submitted lead records for 90 days.
| Capability | Business | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|
| Lead Forms | Included | Included |
| Submissions per QR code | 5,000 | 50,000 |
| Lead retention | 90 days | 90 days |

What happens after a visitor submits
The product journey is designed around an explicit form submission and a useful next destination.
Lead record created
QRLynx stores the submitted contact fields with the QR record and submission time. A lead exists only after a successful submit.
Destination opened
The browser continues to the destination configured on the dynamic QR code after the accepted submission.
Dashboard review
Workspace users with the appropriate role can view, search, and filter submissions in Account > Leads.
CSV handoff
Export Date, QR Code, Name, Email, Phone, Company, Job Title, and Website columns for spreadsheet or CRM import workflows.
Privacy, consent, and operational controls
QRLynx validates an email address when one is supplied, sanitizes submitted text, applies rate limits, and can use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated submissions. The public form is excluded from search indexing and includes QRLynx attribution plus a report link.
The campaign owner decides what information to request, what notice or lawful basis applies, how consent is collected when required, and how exported records are used. The current QRLynx Lead Form provides the six fixed contact fields above. It does not add an owner-written privacy notice, consent checkbox, required-field setting, custom question, direct CRM connector, or lead-notification email. CSV export is the current supported handoff to a spreadsheet, CRM, or email platform.
Lead records are retained for 90 days. When a QR code reaches its plan capacity or its owner no longer has Lead Form access, QRLynx stops accepting additional submissions and presents a visitor-facing availability message.
Campaigns that fit the current Lead Form
Use the built-in form when the six contact fields and a post-submit destination match the visitor's task.
Events and trade shows
Collect attendee contact details before opening a brochure, booking page, product page, or follow-up resource.
Real estate inquiries
Place a code on a sign or handout and continue submitted visitors to property details or an appointment page.
Resource downloads
Request contact details before opening a white paper, guide, catalog, or other destination resource.
Retail and packaging
Invite shoppers to share contact details before continuing to an offer, registration page, or product experience.
QRLynx Lead Forms questions
Current answers about configuration, access, storage, and export.
Which QRLynx plans include Lead Forms?
Lead Forms are included with Business and Enterprise. Business supports up to 5,000 submitted leads per QR code, while Enterprise supports up to 50,000. Both plans retain lead records for 90 days.
Which fields can a QRLynx Lead Form collect?
You can show Name, Email, Phone, Company, Job Title, and Website. Name and Email are enabled by default. Every displayed field is currently optional, and an entered email address is checked for a valid email format.
Can I add custom questions or make fields required?
The current Lead Form uses six fixed optional contact fields. The settings do not add custom questions, change field labels, or make individual fields required.
What does the scanner see?
The visitor sees a mobile form whose title comes from the QR code name. After a successful submission, the browser continues to the destination configured for that dynamic QR code.
Does opening the form create a lead record?
A lead record is created only after the visitor submits the form successfully. Opening the form without submitting does not create contact data.
Can I use Lead Forms with Password Protection?
Lead Form and Password Protection are separate access gates and cannot be enabled together on the same QR code. Choose the gate that matches the campaign's job.
How do I move QRLynx leads into a CRM?
Export the Leads dashboard as CSV, then import the file into the CRM or email platform you use. The current export includes Date, QR Code, Name, Email, Phone, Company, Job Title, and Website. Direct CRM synchronization is not part of the current Lead Form feature.
How long are submitted leads available?
QRLynx retains Lead Form submissions for 90 days on Business and Enterprise. Export records within that window when your campaign workflow needs a longer archive.
Who can view or export workspace leads?
Lead records belong to the QR code's workspace. Workspace role checks apply to dashboard access, and CSV export requires an editor-level role or higher together with Lead Form access.
What happens when a QR code reaches its lead capacity?
QRLynx stops accepting additional submissions for that QR code and shows a visitor-facing capacity message. The existing dashboard records remain available within the 90-day retention window.
