From your dashboard sidebar, click "Create Workspace" and give your team workspace a name. You become the Owner automatically with full control over settings, billing, and membership.

Enter your teammates' email addresses and choose a role for each. They receive a secure invitation link that lets them join the workspace with one click.

What are team workspaces?

Team workspaces are shared environments where multiple QRLynx users can collaborate on QR codes, folders, and analytics. Each workspace has its own set of QR codes, billing, and member roles, keeping team data organized and separate from personal projects.

How many team members can I add?

The Business plan supports up to 3 team members per workspace, and the Enterprise plan supports up to 10. The workspace owner does not count toward the member limit. You can invite and remove members at any time.

What roles are available?

QRLynx offers four workspace roles: Viewer (read-only access to QR codes and analytics), Editor (can create and edit QR codes and folders), Admin (can manage members and invitations), and Owner (full control including billing and workspace deletion). Each role inherits all permissions from the roles below it.

How do invitations work?

Workspace Admins and Owners can invite new members by entering their email address and selecting a role. The invitee receives an email with a secure link to accept the invitation. Pending invitations can be revoked before they are accepted. If an invitation expires, you can resend it.

Can I have multiple workspaces?

Yes. Every user has a personal workspace by default. Users on Business or Enterprise plans can create additional team workspaces. You can switch between workspaces instantly from the sidebar without logging out.

What happens when a member is removed?

When you remove a member from a workspace, they immediately lose access to all QR codes, folders, and analytics in that workspace. QR codes they created remain in the workspace and continue to function normally. The removed member retains access to their personal workspace.

How does billing work for workspaces?

Each workspace has a single subscription managed by the Owner. All members share the same plan features and limits. There are no per-seat charges. The Owner can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel the workspace plan from the billing dashboard.

Can I transfer workspace ownership?

Yes. The current Owner can transfer ownership to any Admin in the workspace. The new Owner gains full control over billing, settings, and membership. The previous Owner is automatically moved to the Admin role.

Is data isolated between workspaces?

Yes. Each workspace is completely isolated. QR codes, folders, analytics, and billing data are separate between workspaces. A member of multiple workspaces cannot access data from one workspace while viewing another. This ensures client confidentiality for agencies and data separation for enterprises.

Which plans support team workspaces?

Team workspaces are available on Business and Enterprise plans. Starter, Basic, and Pro users have a personal workspace but cannot create team workspaces or invite members. You can upgrade to Business or Enterprise from the pricing page to unlock team collaboration.
