Turn Scans into Actionable Insights
Stop guessing. Start tracking. See every scan in real time, then let AI Insights turn the numbers into fast, usable recommendations for your next move.
Data-Driven Decisions for Your Business
In modern marketing, data is king. Simply sharing a QR code isn't enough; you need to know who is scanning, when they are scanning, and where they are coming from.
QR Lynx Analytics provides a forensic level of detail about your audience. Our platform captures anonymous metadata from every scan to build a complete picture of your campaign's performance.
Now, AI Insights helps you move faster by translating charts and scan logs into plain-language summaries. Instead of manually interpreting every spike, dip, or device trend, you get a guided read on what changed and where to focus next.
Whether you're running a global billboard campaign, tracking restaurant menu engagement, or monitoring product packaging scans, our dashboard gives you the metrics that matter most.

Analytics FAQs
Everything you need to know about tracking your QR codes.
Why should I upgrade to Dynamic QR codes?
Upgrading to Dynamic QR codes allows you to track real-time analytics like location, device type, and scan time. It also gives you the flexibility to edit your destination URL without reprinting, ensuring your campaigns remain adaptable and measurable.
What is the difference between plans for analytics?
Starter and Starter+ include core scan tracking plus AI Insights for quick summaries. Pro, Business, and Enterprise add AI Insights (Advanced), longer history, richer location and device detail, and stronger reporting workflows. Business and Enterprise are the right fit when you need team-ready exports and more operational depth.
Can I export my analytics data?
Yes, on Business and Enterprise plans, you can export your scan data as CSV reports. This allows you to integrate the data with your own marketing tools or share detailed performance reports with your clients.
Is tracking retroactive for codes I've already printed?
Tracking only works for Dynamic QR codes created on our platform. If you printed a Static QR code, we cannot track it. However, if you printed a Dynamic code, tracking is active immediately and data will appear in your dashboard.
How accurate is the location tracking?
We use IP-based geolocation which typically provides accuracy down to the city level. We respect user privacy effectively, so we do not track precise GPS coordinates or collect personally identifiable information from scanners.
Does the tracking work for all QR types?
Analytics tracking works for all Dynamic QR types including URL, vCard, PDF, App Store, and Social Media links. Static types (like plain Text or WiFi config) are processed entirely on the user's device and cannot be tracked.
Can I reset the scan count for a campaign?
Currently, scan counts are cumulative for the life of the QR code to provide a total performance view. To restart tracking for a new campaign period, we recommend creating a new Dynamic QR code.
Do you offer retargeting pixel integration?
Yes, our Enterprise plan includes Retargeting Pixels. This allows you to add tracking pixels (like Facebook or Google) to your QR code destination, enabling you to build custom audiences for retargeting ads based on who scanned your code.
What data can you collect from a QR code scan?
When someone scans a dynamic QR code on QRLynx, the platform captures the scan timestamp, approximate geographic location via IP geolocation, device type, operating system, and browser. This data is displayed in your analytics dashboard with charts and maps. All tracking is privacy-friendly and does not collect personally identifiable information from the person scanning.
How to track QR codes with Google Analytics?
QRLynx makes it easy to track QR code campaigns in Google Analytics by letting you append UTM parameters to your destination URL. Set utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign values when creating your QR code, and every scan will appear as a trackable campaign in your Google Analytics reports. You can also use our built-in UTM Builder tool to generate properly formatted tracking URLs.
What is the difference between total scans and unique scans?
Total scans count every single time your QR code is scanned, including repeat scans by the same person. Unique scans filter out repeat visitors within a time window to give you a more accurate picture of how many individual people engaged with your code. QRLynx displays both metrics in your analytics dashboard so you can measure both reach and engagement frequency.
How do I add UTM parameters to a QR code?
In QRLynx, you can add UTM parameters directly when creating or editing a dynamic QR code by appending them to your destination URL. Alternatively, use our free UTM Builder tool to construct the tagged URL before pasting it into the QR code creator. Common parameters include utm_source=qr_code, utm_medium=print, and utm_campaign=your_campaign_name for clean attribution in analytics platforms.
